PSY 3080 - EXPERIMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY


credits: 3.0
Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to design and implement psychological experiments. The course is a follow-up to PSY 2750 . You will use the information covered in that course to begin to conduct experiments and to learn to write research reports in APA format. Method of Instruction: Lectures, discussion, and class experiments. Method of Evaluation: Grades will be based upon scores on exams, completion of experimental research project and quality of research reports. Meets *WRT Distribution Requirement.

Prerequisite(s): MAT 2090 - STATISTICAL METHODS  (or) PSY 2602 - QUANTITATIVE METHODS IN PSYCHOLOGY  (or) PSY 2750 - PSYCHOLOGICAL STATISTICS
