MGT 3300 - INTRODUCTION TO LABOR ANDEMPLOYMENT LAW credits: 3.0 Crosslisted/Same As: LAW 3300 LAW 3300 -MGT 3300. Students will examine the development of labor and employment law in the United States. Will analyze judicial and administrative application and interpretation of existing federal statutes. Additionally, will explore topics in U.S. employment laws such as family leave, equal pay, labor relations act, wrongful discharge, undocumented workers, workplace privacy, safety, and discrimination, and other current developments. Students will also understand the impact these laws have in the workplace.
Prerequisite(s): MGT 2010 - BUSINESS LAW I and MGT 2240 - PRINCIPLES OF MANAGEMENT
