MGT 2010 - BUSINESS LAW I

Objectives: Through a study of relevant sources of law, such as cases and statutes, students learn to understand, analyze and apply legal principles and rules regarding criminal versus civil law, regulation of business by anti-trust statutes, the workings of lawsuit, Tort Law, Administrative Law, Consumer Law, and Contract Law. Method of Instruction: Lecture, discussions and problem solving. Method of Evaluation: In-class exams given at the end of each unit of study. The unit exams will be short answer and essay type questions. Attendance and class participation is considered.
