PSY 3410 - COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY credits: 3.0 The purpose of the course is to examine theory and research in the field of cognitive psychology. Topics will include perception, memory, concept formation, reasoning and problem solving. The emphasis will be on evaluation of research which has supported the major theories in the field. Method of Instruction: Lectures, computer simulations, class experiments and discussion. Method of Evaluation: Exams, article reviews, short papers, and presentations.
Prerequisite(s): PSY 1010 - INTRODUCTORY PSYCHOLOGY
