PSC 3050 - INTERNATIONAL LAW AND WORLD POLITIC credits: 3.0 Objectives: A) Identify and comprehend the basic concepts of international law as they have developed through the ages; B) Define legal norms of international behavior not only as accepted in juridical and theoretical context, but as adopted and practiced among nation-states; C) Analyze the effect of the law upon the changing patterns and processes of relations among nation-states toward the establishment of the rules of law in the world. Method of Instruction: Lecture, debate, discussion, and case studies. Method of Evaluation: Participation, debate, two mid-term exams, and a final exam. Meets *GLP Distribution Requirement.
Prerequisite(s): PSC 1021 - INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS .
