BIO 3210 - KINESIOLOGY credits: 3.0 Objectives: A) To learn the scientific basis of human motion; B) Examine the anatomy, physiology and physics of movement and activity; C) Understand the integration of body parts in physical activities and the applications and analysis of such movement; D) Explore exercise for specific purposes and to teach motion skills. Method of Instruction: Three lectures per week and some lab work will be required one lab session per week. Method of Evaluation: Hourly exams, student research paper, class participation, and a final.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 1210 - ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY I and BIO 1211 - ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY II
