BIO 1211 - ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY II credits: 4.0 Objectives: Will be able to identify the gross and microscopic components of the following systems: Circulatory, respiratory, digestive, excretory, reproductive and endocrine. To explain the physical and physiological (function) mechanisms of the above systems. To describe and explain the control of the systems. To recognize and indicate ways in which the systems may malfunction. Method of Instruction: Three hours of lecture plus three hours of laboratory per week. Laboratories will be taught using preserved mammals for dissection, slides, models, films, and demonstration. Method of Evaluation: There will be weekly laboratory quizzes, two lecture examinations and a comprehensive final exam.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 1210 - ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY I Co-Requisite(s): MUST BE TAKEN WITH BIO 1211L .
