PSY 3000 - ADULT DEVELOPMENT AND AGING credits: 3.0 Objectives: To study the psychological changes that occur with maturing and aging. Stages of adult development will be examined with special emphasis on the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive changes that occur from early adulthood through death. Problems of aging adult in contemporary society will be highlighted. Method of Instruction: Lectures, films, discussion and class exercises will be supplemented by assigned readings. Method of Evaluation: Three papers, a mid-term exam and a final exam.
