NSG 4510 - NURSING CAREER RELATED FIELD EXPERIENCE credits: 6.0 The Career Related Field Experience is an integral component of the Nurse Education Program Curriculum that provides the student with the opportunity to explore in depth a career role of choice in nursing. Principles of nursing leadership are incorporated into a synthesis of all previous nursing courses and experiences. It supplements and complements other courses in the Nurse Education Program. An independent study format is used to develop the special interests, abilities and or needs of the student in nursing. This experience assists the student to complete the transition process from student to beginning practitioner. Clinical: 200 hours. Lecture: 40 hours - includes clinical orientation and seminars.
Prerequisite(s): All program and degree requirements.
