MAT 3030 - MULTIVARIABLE CALCULUS credits: 4.0 This course provides an introduction to the calculus of functions of more than one variable and to vector analysis - the mathematical framework for modern physics. Topics include vector methods in three-dimensional Euclidian space, derivatives and integrals of functions of several variables, and the calculus of vector-valued functions. Method of Evaluation: Based on in-class quizzes and exams, a comprehensive final examination and assignments.
Prerequisite(s): MAT 3010 - CALCULUS III
