FIN 4510 - FINANCE INTERNSHIP credits: 3.0 This is a credit variable internship for 3.0 OR 6.0 credits. The Finance Internship is either one hundred twenty hours (3 credit hours) or two hundred forty hours (6 credit hours) of supervised field experience in a position using financial theories and practices at firms such as providers of financial services, investment management companies, insurance firms, private or public companies, and government agencies. To enroll in FIN 4510, students must meet with and have the written approval of an appropriate full-time Business and Economics Division faculty member. Students must have upper division standing.
Prerequisite(s): Students must have upper division standing and Instructor’s Signature Required. Also need to complete a contract with the Office of Career Services, before registering for course and FIN 3010 - FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT and FIN 3030 - MONEY AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS and FIN 3100 - INVESTMENTS I
