ENG 2260 - SHAKESPEARE AND HIS CONTEMPORARIES

credits: 3.0
A study of two major Shakespeare tragedies, as well as, several tragic plays by other great Elizabethan tragedians in an effort to understand what constitutes dramatic tragedy in the Renaissance England. Method of Instruction: Lectures and discussion. Method of Evaluation: Essays, readings, and quizzes. Meets *WEP Distribution Requirement.
