ART 2210 - DRAWING II credits: 3.0 An intermediate studio course in the fundamental and perceptual approaches to drawing in correlation to Drawing I. Students will learn to develop familiarity and confidence with a variety of media, ranging from charcoal, ink washes, conte and pencil, utilizing their shills and observers leading to a greater understanding of the visual elements as they relate to drawing. Subject matter includes: nude models, self-portraits, still-life, and nature. Course includes brief writing assignments, and group critiques. Method of Instruction: Studio work with technical/perceptual and lecture information continuous throughout class. Method of Evaluation: Creativity, appropriation of lesson plan, motivation and amount of exploration and experimentation. Course Fee: $50.00.
