ART 1905 - DRAWING AND PAINTING FROM NATURE credits: 3.0 Course is a credit variable course, to be registered for 3.0 OR 6.0 credits. An intensive studio course in drawing and painting utilizing nature as subject matter. Students will draw and paint from direct observation at on and off- campus locations. A variety of media will be explored, i.e.; charcoal, conte and ink. Method of Instruction: Class meetings will be devoted to studio work on site, with technical and lecture information continuous throughout class. Method of Evaluation: Creativity, appropriation of lesson plan, motivation, and amount of exploration and experimentation. COURSE FEE: $100.00.
