ANT 4999 - INTERNSHIP IN ANTHROPOLOGY


credits: 3.0
This course is a variable credit course. Course credits are for 3.0 OR 6.0 credits. Meets Career Related Internship Requirements. Also need to complete a contract with the Office of Career Services, before registering for course. WILL BE GRADED ON S-D-F BASIS. This internship is for students who want to apply issues and insights from the field of Anthropology to a community or organizational setting. Students contract with a faculty member to create a final project of their choice. Objectives: A) Will successfully apply anthropological insight in an organizational or community setting; B) Students and supervising faculty members are expected to develop at least one additional course-specific learning outcome for the internship. Students will be evaluated by the faculty member on the basis of the learning outcomes. Method of Instruction: This is an internship. Method of Evaluation: Faculty member will assess the final product that was mutually agreed for the internship. No student can pass the internship without completing the minimum number of hours for a 3 credit or 6 credit internship. Students will be graded on a S-D-F basis. Method of Evaluation:
