A study of the development of theatre in the Western world from the English Restoration and French Neo-Classic period to the present with the concomitant development of methods and styles of staging, production, and acting. Method of Instruction: Lecture, discussion and written research project. Method of Evaluation: Three examinations will be given. A well written research paper is required. Attendance and participation in discussion is required. Meets *WEP and *WRT Distribution Requirement. Course Fee: $30.00.
