DAN 2000 - INTERMEDIATE MODERN DANCE

Objectives: To allow student to pursue a more in-depth approach to the art of dance through creative involvement and exploration in addition to more advanced technical work than is possible in the introductory classes. Students will be exposed to different styles of modern dance as well as various established techniques and their bases. Method of Instruction: Studio classes in techniques, improvisation, and compositional skills. Method of Evaluation: Attendance, participation, performances, composition, individual growth and understanding of the materials presented. Meets *PEW Distribution Requirement.
