MAT 2020 - CALCULUS II credits: 4.0 This is the second course in a unified sequence of courses on the calculus of functions of one variable. Topics will include antiderivatives, definite integrals and their applications, the calculus of transcendental functions, techniques of integration and an introduction to numerical integration. Method of Instruction: Lecture, discussion, problem-solving, and computer work. Method of Evaluation: Grades will be based on hand-in computer assignments, in-class examinations and a comprehensive final exam.
Prerequisite(s): ADEQUATE SCORE ON THE DEPARTMENTAL PLACEMENT TEST (or) MAT 2010 - CALCULUS I Co-Requisite(s): MUST BE TAKEN WITH A MAT 2020L LAB.
