A studio/seminar wherein the graduate art student, who has been introduced to metal casting, combines concentrated foundry processess and intellectual exchange. The primary focus is the development of the student’s artistic pursuits, using the foundry as a major resource. This is enhanced by speicalized reading and dicussions. Critical anyalysis of art work will be important, including anyalsis of the relevance of the students work to their own evolution, as well as to the cultural needs of their society.
