ART 6607 - Advanced Non-Feros Matierials

A studio/seminar wherein the graduate art student, who has been introduced to metal casting, combines concentrated foundry processes and intellectual exchange. The primary focus is the development of the student’s artistic pursuits, using the foundry as a major resource. This is enhanced by specialized reading and discussions. Critical analysis of art work will be important, including analysis of the relevance of the students work to their own evolution, as well as to the cultural needs of their society.
