The M.S.Ed Inclusive Special Education (All Grades) graduate program is designed for individuals who possess or have recently applied for initial certification in any content area. This program prepares candidates for employment in all special education settings, which includes resource room teachers, consultant teachers, integrated co-teachers, and to teach students who receive alternative assessments. Upon completion of the program and applicable New York State Education Department requirements, students apply on their own for professional certification in their content area and are institutionally recommended by Elmira College for New York State for additional certification for teaching Students with Disabilities (all grades certificate).
