EDU 3657 - PRACTCUM METHODOLOGIES TEACHINGIN ADOLESCENCE EDUCATION

STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION. This is a practicum component of EDU 3357 . Students will complete a college-supervised field experience with a minimum of thirty-four hours in an adolescence setting. Students will apply their course work related to planning and performing curriculum, instruction, and assessments in classrooms within the local school districts. Objectives: A) Plan appropriate curriculum for adolescence education students; B) Plan and implement appropriate instructional strategies for adolescence education; C) Plan, create, administer and analyze formative and summative assessments for adolescence education; D) Demonstrate respect and positive rapport with students. Method of Instruction: Classroom experiences where students are implementing their lessons created in EDU 3337  and EDU 3357 . Method of Evaluation: Observation, Written reflections, Assessment analysis, and Participation and graded on a Pass-Fail basis.
